Apps of Week (June 6 – 12)
Well, isn’t this a great Tuesday! To make it even better, here’s a special treat for you – some apps to get you busy this week. Have a great one!
1. Tapas – Books, Comics, Stories (iOS & Android)
Tapas is a library in your pocket. With thousands of books and graphic novels (with more on the way) easily accessible inside a redesigned app, you’re going to love reading more.
This won’t require you to sit for hours as Tapas is designed for use if you’ve got time to kill at the bus stop, if you’re in the bathroom (we all do this at one point – or two), or if you’ve got extra time during lunch.
2. Kitchen Stories (iOS & Android)
Calling all the foodies out there who want to get closer to their first love! Kitchen Stories is an app that will help you not only with your food addiction but also with your eating habits and cooking skills.
With fresh videos uploaded every week and lots of easy recipes to follow, this one here is a keeper. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just starting out, we highly recommend Kitchen Stories.
3. Curiosity (iOS & Android)
Introducing, an app that “won’t kill the cat” (seriously, though).
If you love learning about new things from technology to history and everything in between, Daily Curiosity is for you. Think of this as your incredibly organized encyclopedia-slash-trivia book in your pocket. Perfect for learning on the go and getting easy-to-digest information. Share your new learnings with friends and spread knowledge!
4. NoteStream (iOS)
If you’re one for quirky articles and books but tire of reading incredibly long texts in small fonts, NoteStream is just the ticket. Designed for your phone, each story is presented to you in an easy-to-read fashion, and a bookmark feature to help you get back when you suddenly need to stop reading.
This is not a news app, rather, it is where inspiring stories and tales of discoveries are curated. Explore the Interactive Book Club section and let the stories come to life.
App Price: Free – iOS
